ASOIAF card series: King of Diamonds - Stannis Baratheon
Positively, the King of Diamonds is endowed with wisdom and power. He may appear cold or hard — but in truth, he is just, fair and inclined to philanthropy. As a Kings Card he is born into power and must naturally equip himself as a ruler. And if that power means money, then it must mean money in such abundance that no one can outstrip them or outdo them. On the other hand, for those Kings of Diamonds who are the “initiates” - that is, working on the higher plane of values - the hard-boiled materialism of the typical King of Diamond is unknown to them. ♦
